Our Mission

Our mission at Turn the Tides is to combat the problem of overfishing. Our organization is based in Canada so that is where our main focus lies. Our global efforts are just as important. Overfishing is a global issue that needs to be talked about and brought awareness to, there are many things as a citizen that you can do to make a positive difference to help bring us into a better future for sealife and humanity. This page was created as a beacon for an audience of all ages to experience, this page highlights the important facts. On our website, you can see the efforts we are making. If you feel that overfishing is a problem that is worth solving we have several options for you to contribute to our cause. 

Contest

Turn the Tides is starting our campaign with a contest! This contest is to help spread the word about our new organization to other organizations as well as the public. The contest is a multi-media contest, including possible submissions of short stories, poems, and artwork (digital and traditional). This contest will be held monthly, and winning submissions will be featured at the top of our home page as well as our interactive page above the highlights section in a magazine-style format for viewing. If you are interested in submitting your work, press the button below to fill out the submission form.
